Dear GHCD Family—

This area of our website helps us learn your re-enrollment needs for the months and school year ahead.

Coordinating placement for the limited number of new families we can admit, depends on the same annual process that first let us commit a spot for your little one(s): gather each family’s re-enrollment info and chart the next round of promotions for all children, school-wide, as the fall semester approaches.

To that end, please provide us with re-enrollment information for your child(ren) at your earliest opportunity, but no later than Friday, March 21st. Unless we receive your family’s completed documents by this deadline, we cannot assure placement after the month of June.

This Q&A is followed by "Step One" to re-enroll, further below:

What if none of our info has changed?

Please follow these steps anyway. Some annual updates and signatures are required for licensing purposes. Other aspects support the school policies and communications necessary to uphold our program quality. All of it is for the sake of meeting our mutual goals for your child.

Why the March 21st deadline?

We need your family’s information as soon as you can provide it so we can plan for your child's needs while pursuing parallel commitments on behalf of the other enrolled families, newly enrolling families, and the school as a whole.

Summer Siblings

In summers past we’ve welcomed a few formerly enrolled children to join us as a supplement to other camps and family plans ahead of their next elementary grade. If having your rising first or second grader join us during June and/or July would help your summer plans, please email us. Availability and pricing will be determined as soon as possible after we gauge interest.

What tuition or fee increase should we expect?

The pending tuition increase is about the same as last year’s. For rate details, see the 2025/26 Tuition & Fee Schedule that follows.

As always, the annual increase helps us recruit and retain the best early childhood educators available to serve your family. Our primary cost concerns remain: inflation, Nashville’s status as a job seeker’s labor market, and the ongoing teacher shortage.

We recognize any increase may create a financial hardship for some families. If your family is cost-sensitive such that this year’s increase will require you to seek other arrangements for your child, please email Lori and David before March 21st in case there’s a way we might be able to help.

When will the 2025/26 rates take effect?

For currently enrolled families, the new rates will take effect with the earlier of August 1st or when your child promotes to the next older class.

Under what circumstances would another rate adjustment be required prior to the summer of 2026?

Like the increase for the 2024/25 school year, the 2025/26 funds are overwhelmingly directed at employee wages and benefits. Should our cost drivers require significant resources beyond this budgeted increase, we will revisit our rates to ensure sustainability.

What if our family isn’t sure what we’ll need after this semester?

Paperwork based on your best projection of what your family will need, is what we need. Let us know of any uncertainty and we will do everything we can to postpone a final decision to as late a date as possible.

To minimize the effects of student turnover on the group learning environment, re-enrolling families are asked to commit in principle for the entire upcoming school year—however, getting us your best projection of what your family will need does not change your prerogative or obligation to give 30 days’ paid notice of withdrawal, should a neighborhood or career change later require you to make other arrangements.

Are any fees due with this process?

Yes. The annual registration fee ($50 per child) will be invoiced with April tuition for re-enrolling families, including for siblings who will begin before August.

Pointers for the process:

Step by step navigation starts below to identify the documents or info needed for your child - our receipt of them completes the process.

If you're currently enrolled and have no updates to give us, your process will be quicker.

Some documents are for your reference, such as the 2025/26 Calendar and Parent Policies.

Whether this process is paperless for you will depend on your software; we recommend Adobe Acrobat.

Please email your completed info to Parents@GreenHillsChild.com, or give a printed copy of each completed and signed form in person to Lori or Tori (or drop it in the OFF HOURS payment box at our original, covered front porch on the Belmont Blvd side), whichever is preferable to you - by Friday, March 21st.

What's Step One?

Scroll down to click a link below STEP ONE. Except where indicated, we need separate information for each child.

Thanks for your help with this process and for the privilege of serving your family.

Sincerely,

DM
